Smartphone make difficult for training dogs
Smartphone habits are making dogs
"crazy" and difficult to teach than ever. Is your dog more and more
difficult to train, not listen to? If this is the case, the reason is probably
because of your habits of using smartphone.
Has your dog become so hard lately? If so,
the cause is probably due to the habit of using your smartphone. That's what
experts say after a recent study.
In particular, experts believe that many
dogs are having problems with global behavior, and that the cause is from the
owners' own phones. According to the survey of the project "Digital Detox",
an average adult spent 9.5 hours per day to look at the phone screen - more
than the amount of sleeping time.
This has created a bad effect on dogs. In
statistics from a veterinary center in the United Kingdom, in the last five
years, the number of dogs not taught and absolutely not obeyed has risen
sharply.
"I strongly urge people to put their
phones aside with their dogs," said Amber Pickworth, an associate
professor at Anglia Ruskin University. "You think taking a dog for a walk
is enough, but the moment you pull out your phone, there's a huge change you
cannot even recognize," she said. "You have a great influence. For
dogs, its owner is the whole world."
According to Pickworth, the cause of this
phenomenon is probably because the dog is a zoo, and it considers humans a
prime animal. Dogs will tend to wait for the owner to order, or allow them to
do something next.
But because you are so focused on the
phone, you almost do not react to them. Dogs do not understand why you ignore
them, and this frightens them.
If the dog accidentally sees a cat run
through, it will tend to look at you to ... please? And because you have no
response - by looking at the phone - the dog simply shoves you and does what it
wants. Because there are no signs, you make the dog feel nervous and gradually
form a problem of long-term behavior.
Pickworth said that from 2011 to now, the
time we spend on the phone has increased four times.
You return home after a day of work, then
glued to the phone instead of playing with the dog, they will feel depressed. A
bored dog may become more aggressive. Furthermore, if you intend to take the
inherent toy of it, beware.
According to Pickworth, the best way for a
dog to become obedient is to pay attention to them. Get rid of the hobbies that
come with your phone, spend more time with your dogs, rather than letting them
engage in bad behaviors, and you'll be scaring away with no results.
